The Discovery console is your central hub for understanding AI application usage across your organization. It provides visibility into which AI applications are being used, who is using them, and how they are being accessed, including both traditional AI interactions and emerging agentic AI activity.

Key Components

Discovery is organized into three main sections, each providing a different lens into your organization's AI landscape:

Discovered Apps

View detected AI applications and usage patterns across your organization. Monitor adoption trends, track new applications, and understand which AI tools your workforce is engaging with.

App Catalog

Explore the comprehensive catalog of supported AI applications. Review application details, risk classifications, and approval status to make informed governance decisions.

Agents

Monitor AI agent activity and MCP server connections. Track agent deployments, tool usage, and data transfers across your organization. Gain visibility into both user-facing agent plugins and embedded SaaS agents.

Discovery Capabilities

The Discovery console enables security and IT teams to:

Identify Shadow AI: Detect unauthorized or unknown AI applications and agents in use across the organization

Monitor Adoption: Track AI application and agent adoption trends over time

Assess Risk: Evaluate security and compliance risk based on application and agent classifications

Support Governance: Make informed decisions about which AI applications and agent configurations to approve or restrict

Understand Tool Usage: Monitor how agents are accessing external tools and MCP servers

Getting Started

To begin using Discovery:

Navigate to Discovery in the left sidebar

Select the tab you want to explore: Discovered Apps, App Catalog, or Agents.

Use filters to refine your view based on time range, department, or specific criteria

Click on individual items for detailed information and activity history

Export reports or configure alerts based on discovery insights
